Resident Visa

A resident visa will allow you to work, study, own a business, and live in New Zealand permanently. You will be able to take advantage of the social security cover and access subsidised medical care.

There are a number of pathways leading to a resident visa, including but not limited to partnership resident visa, resident visa under the skilled migrant category, and residence from work visa.

After obtaining the resident visa for several years, you may be eligible to apply for a Permanent Resident Visa and Citizenship, subject to additional requirements.
