New Accredited Employer Work Visa
INZ has provided updates today for the new accredited employer work visa.

Visas that are being replaced by the AEWV:

2.Essential Skills Work Visa – approved in principle
3.Talent (Accredited Employer) Work Visa
4.Long Term Skill Shortage List Work Visa
5.Silver Fern Job Search Visa (closed 7 Oct 2019)
6.Silver Fern Practical Experience Visa
Employer Check
-Standard accreditation: employers with up to 5 migrant workers on AEWVs
-High-volume accreditation: employers with 6 or more migrant workers on AEWVs
Job Check
-The employer holds accreditation and meet the accreditation requirements
-Employment is acceptable e.g. pays market rate, 30 hours per week
-Labour market test will be required, except: - Jobs paying 200 % of the median wage - Jobs paying at, or above, the median wage in regions - Jobs that are on a skills shortage list and pay at, or above, the median wage in cities (Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Dunedin)
Migrant Check
-Must be requested to apply by the employer
-Details of employment meet the approved job check requirements
-Suitably qualified
-Meet the health, character, and bona fide requirements
